Automated Stencil Layout Server

Stencilmatic is a PC server that formats and cuts stencils on demand. It presents an operator console and an automation interface for other software processes to initiate stencils.

Source data files are detected by Stencilmatic and processed according to predefined layout rules that are encoded in customized templates.

  1. A barcode scan initiates a queery to the ERP system.
  2. The ERP response data is consolidated into a text file.
  3. Stencilmatic Server processes the text file, laying out the data according to customized stencil templates and formatting the data for the cutting machine.
  4. The stencil is layed out and cut using optimized machine instructions to minimize media travel.
  5. Perfectly formed stencils are cut efficiently, reliably and repeatably with zero exposure to transcription error.
Your stencil layout(s) are encoded as customized templates. Use different templates for different categories of items.

Stencilmatic Server's console provides job status information, control of the stencil process, and logging.
